Hi All,
The April 2017 collection of the parameter files of UF is sent to the cloud. Some of them could be a copy of a parameter file of long ago.
You can find them at the cloud of Microsoft:

I had made a video.

Of this the most I liked this spot. Throught it isn't so good for fractaling. It's the "wait, wait and wait and then baah, finaly apears" formulas. Pixel and as outside:

Hallo, ich bin ganz neu hier und teste noch die Demo Version. Möchte UF aber wohl gerne kaufen denke ich. Was mich als erstes Interessiert.

I have Ultra Fractal running on my windows PC and the server running on my MacBook Pro. When I add the server in the networks tab it keeps connecting and disconnecting very quickly. On the server in the log I see lots of the following message:
Error loading parameters: Could not find 'Julia' in '::00000000:2'.
Any idea what could be wrong?
I cant afford the full software and I just want to mess around and learn about fractals.
Is there a free version? I'm not a company or anything I just want to have fun with fractals on my own.
Do I have to reinstall my whole OS if I want to use it after trial period expires? I dont see any other alternative.
Is anyone else unable to access the public formulas, either browse or recent changes or logging in as an author?
I am able to update my formulas successfully in UF, but cannot upload some new formulas I have written.
I get this message:
CGIWrap Error: Request Error
followed by (for browsing collection):
There is a problem with the request. Please contact the owner of the site
The past week or so, I've been developing a new coloring algorithm. The basic idea was to use the minimum iteration of the image to help determine how the image was colored.
I know the software reports the minimum iterations for the current image in a separate window, but I haven't seen any way to access that information within a formula. Is there any way to access that information for colori
There must be a short cut key commands to pan through
the layers (Merge Mode pull down menu).
I've looked through the different Ultra Fractal menu help items
and have not been able to find this feature
This command is Definitely on a Microsoft computer
running Ultra Fractal.

When I get a mail like the one below and I click on the url, then I got a message saying "You do not have enough permissions to view this page".
This happens since a few weeks.
Am I doing something wrong??

Hello out there. It has been a very long time since I have hung out with this crowd. I still occasionally build an image or two. Here are some recent ones.

Hey guys, I hope that you're doing well! I've been dabbling in animation recently, and unfortunately, I can't figure out how to preserve the transparency in my export. Any tips? Or am I stuck exporting them frame by frame?

This simple one looks like a blow-up of an integrated circuit to me. Just another illustration of the variety that UF can do. Note that technically, it's not a fractal.

Hello,
I have been using Fractal Explorer [now defunct, and I'm kicking myself fro not buying a license to the source years ago when the Russian dude was still responding to e-mail] and I have many [probably about 1k] original fractal formulae that are stuck in that format.
I still have the app, but it only works on 32 bit systems, and I only have one 32 bit computer left.

Hi all,
It's being over 10 years since I last used Ultrafracta, but it's still a great program. I've started with an easy one, a classic Julia spiral. Tweaks are welcome, I hope you enjoy it.

I first got Ultrafracal in 2010, and at that time I implemented some formulae for showing cubic and higher-degree Juia and Mandelbrot sets. I also formulated the so-called cubic Rudy set, which is, in my opinion, the best cubic analog to the quadratic Mandelbrot set. Like the Mandelbrot set, the Rudy set is in some sense an encyclopedia of the relevant class of Julia sets. It's all explained on

Haven't used UF5.4 since November 2016 after upgrading to Windows 10 and a Dell laptop (4K). I'm very uncomfortable changing the registry, as previously recommended in the forum. However, I did try to no avail. Prefer to wait for UF6. When can we expect its release?
I'd guess this is a slightly technical question. I have an Amazon Web Services account, and was exploring the possiblity of setting up a cloud server to render ultrafractal compositions on - I've just lost the powerful work machine I used to use (with permission) and am looking at alternative solutions.
Has anyone ever done this? Is it even possible? I'm guessing I would have to use a Wind

Drop Down Menus
The drop down menus no longer work. I've re-installed twice to no avail.
They will open but I cannot select or change them. This is for every menu bar and drop down.

I am new to Ultra Fractal and I was wondering. Is there a way to render fractals that do not take long periods of time. I'm wondering if I am doing something wrong. Sometimes rendering a 20 second animated fractal can take me hours.
Anyone have any thoughts or pointers on this subject.
Thanks, John

The Ultra Fractal 5 manual mentions Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons (see p. 26). Where are these?
In some tutorials I'm asked for a (lkm folder) in Ultra Fractal 5 for mac.
Ii've search through the Ultra Fractal 5 file structure and have not found
this folder designation.
I'm not that familiar with UF 5 for mac or windows versions and I'm foundering if the pre-gradients package that come with mac versions is limited.
Are there is any download packages for pre designed gradient for

I am absolutely brand new with this software and am finding the tutorials frustrating in that the images do not seem to coordinate with the views I see in the toolbox section at the right of the screen. The tutorial images seem to be outdated and therefore I can't learn the objective at hand.
I'd like to start with simply modifying a formula. Any help is much appreciated.
