After playing with software that implements this math, I feel like UF is 20 years behind! Sorry!

Good news! The next version of UF will have this feature as well, both for the built-in Mandelbrot and for your own formulas. It's already working for me and is indeed quite a magical speedup.

That is fantastic news! And now that I read my earlier post I apologize if it came across as rude. Big UF fan - have been around since version 2 I think... Can't wait to get my hands on it...
