Copy/Paste in tutorial

Complete newly to UF. I'm going through the tutorials and I've run into a problem with pasting data from the tutorial into the program.

The instructions say to copy this text, then paste it into the gradient editor.

Since I can paste the text here, I know it's being copied to the clipboard, but when I try to Right-click inside the gradient editor and select Paste, Paste is greyed out.

Any ideas on what I might be missing or doing wrong? I'm on an iMac running 10.12.5, Sierra

You have some extra characters at the beginning. Start the copy at the name and end with the final brace:

Gradient-Fractal2,Background { 
gradient: 
title="Gradient - Fractal2, Background" smooth=yes rotation=155
index=84 color=13799050 index=247 color=16448758 index=332 color=9665827 
}

That works. I figured it was something that simple.
