I noticed that when I and Otto Magus posted parameters they had /> in front of them. (I had simply copied mine from the Browser in UF where the symbols do not show.) Even trying to omit these symbols, when copying, and then pasting into UF did not work. I had to first Paste into TextEdit using Paste and Match Style which oddly seems to remove formatting that prevents the Paste from working correctly, making sure the /> was omitted.
Can anyone please explain why this happens.

I noticed some while back that pasting complex values taken from the Tutorials can also give rise to the same problem, solved in the same way.

Hi Peter, I noticed this too and have no idea why it happens.... but when I pasted the parameters ( including the /> ) into UF, they seem to work fine.

Based on your use of TextEdit, I believe you are using UF on Mac.
This may be an issue with line feed behavior.

Try editing your post and put an empty line between the beginning text and the formula/upr and the forum software should format the upr in a scrolling code window.

You should be able to see this happen in the live preview window.

I am using Windows and also need to have an empty line between text and pasted upr for the forum software to recognize the upr.

Thanks Encrypted. You are right I am using a Mac. I have edited the post and adding an empty line did the trick.

I'll need to improve the UPR detection a little bit to circumvent this. You do need empty lines before and after the UPR.
