I added a new distance type--digit difference. The idea is that to change "192" to "349," you could add 2 to the first digit, subtract 5 from the second, and add 7 to the third. The edit distance is the sum of the digit differences, 2+5+7 = 14. Here is an images that illustrates the difference between the two distance types. Additionally, the two colors used are Pantone's Colors of the Year for 2016: Rose Quartz (pink) and Serenity (blue). Be sure to update your formulas.
